SummerStage, Central Park
Rumsey Playfield, Central Park, E 72nd St, New York, NY 10021Dreamland: Pride in Central Park 2026 turns SummerStage into a sun-soaked afternoon dance party on Sunday, June 28, from 3 to 10 p.m., the perfect counterweight to the morning March. Held at the Rumsey Playfield stage in the middle of Central Park and produced by Jake Resnicow with City Parks Foundation, Dreamland brings festival-scale production and a stacked DJ lineup to one of the most beautiful outdoor settings in the city. The 2026 edition features headliners spanning disco, house, and pop, turning the leafy heart of Central Park into a massive open-air dance floor as Pride Sunday rolls from afternoon into evening. It is the place to land after the March, when you want to keep the celebration going under the open sky surrounded by thousands of people in full Pride mode. With the park as a backdrop and the sun setting over the stage, Dreamland is one of the most joyful daytime parties of the weekend. A few local tips. SummerStage sits mid-park near 72nd Street, reachable via the B and C lines to 72nd Street on the west side or the 6 to 68th Street on the east, then a walk into the park. Tickets are required and sell out, so buy in advance and check for GA and VIP tiers. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water for the daytime hours, and a light layer for when the temperature drops after dark. Note that big park events often run a bag policy, so travel light. For an afternoon-into-night Pride Sunday, Dreamland is the move on the NYC Pride 2026 calendar.
