Harlem Pride 2026 celebrates Black and Brown LGBTQ+ community, culture, and history uptown on Saturday, June 27, from noon to 6 p.m. Now in its 17th year, this free outdoor festival is the marquee Pride event in Harlem, a joyful, family-friendly celebration that centers the people and the neighborhood at the heart of so much LGBTQ+ history and culture. The day brings live music, drag, spoken word, DJs, and performances across a lineup that reflects Harlem's deep artistic roots, alongside food, vendors, and community organizations sharing resources. It is a celebration with a strong sense of place and purpose, intentionally creating space for Black and Brown LGBTQ+ New Yorkers and their families who are often underrepresented in the larger downtown Pride spaces. The vibe is welcoming, multigenerational, and proudly Harlem, carrying the hashtag 17 Shades of Pride. A few local tips. Harlem is easy to reach on the subway, with the 1 train along Broadway and the A, B, C, and D lines serving the neighborhood, plus Metro-North to Harlem-125th Street. The festival is free and all ages, so bring the whole crew, and check the Harlem Pride site for the confirmed location and stage schedule closer to the date. Bring water, sunscreen, and cash for the food and vendors, and plan to explore Harlem's historic restaurants and landmarks while you are uptown. On a Pride weekend dominated by downtown crowds, Harlem Pride 2026 is the warm, culturally rich celebration that keeps the spotlight on the community that helped build it.
