New York City
New York, New YorkNYC Pride 2026 takes over New York City from June 26 through 28, the grand finale of a full month of LGBTQ+ celebration anchored by the largest Pride march on the planet. Carrying the 2026 theme For All of Us, a tribute to Marsha P. Johnson, the weekend draws an estimated two to three million people to Manhattan as the NYC Pride March rolls down Fifth Avenue on Sunday and the city's bars, piers, and parks erupt into one nonstop celebration. The weekend builds all week. Friday kicks off with the NYC Drag March from Tompkins Square Park to the Stonewall Inn, Mets Pride Night out at Citi Field, and the Pride Island music festival opening on Pier 97. Saturday brings Youth Pride at South Street Seaport, the grassroots NYC Dyke March from Bryant Park, Harlem Pride uptown, and a stacked night of circuit parties. Then Sunday is the main event, with the March stepping off at noon, PrideFest filling Fourth Avenue, and Dreamland turning Central Park into an afternoon dance floor. A few tips from your local friends. Do not even think about driving, because street closures blanket Midtown and the Village all weekend, so ride the subway and use OMNY tap-to-pay. Late June in New York runs hot, often in the high 80s with little shade on Fifth Avenue, so bring water, sunscreen, and a charged phone. Pick a meeting spot with your group before cell service buckles under the crowds. Whether it is your first Pride or your fifteenth, this is New York at its proudest, loudest, and most free.
