Fourth Avenue (East Village)
Fourth Ave from 14th St to Astor Pl, New York, NY 10003PrideFest 2026 is the largest LGBTQ+ street fair in the United States, taking over Fourth Avenue from 14th Street to Astor Place on Sunday, June 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Running alongside the NYC Pride March, it is your home base for the day, a sprawling open-air festival of performances, food, and community organizations packed into the heart of the East Village and Union Square. Produced by NYC Pride, PrideFest brings together more than 200 vendors, from LGBTQ+ owned businesses and artisans to nonprofits and community resources, plus multiple stages of drag, music, and dance running throughout the day. It is free to attend and welcoming for all ages during the daytime hours, with health screenings, advocacy groups, and family-friendly corners woven between the food stalls and merch tables. When the March winds down nearby, the festival is where the crowds flow to refuel and keep celebrating. A few local tips. Take the subway to 14th Street-Union Square, served by the 4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, W, and L lines, or Astor Place on the 6, since driving and parking near the route are impossible on Pride Sunday. The fair gets packed by early afternoon, so come earlier if you want room to browse the vendors and catch a stage set without the crush. Bring cash for the street vendors, who are often card-free, plus water and sunscreen for the late-June heat. Free, lively, and right in the middle of the action, PrideFest is the beating daytime heart of NYC Pride 2026.
