San Francisco Giants Pride Night 2026 lands at Oracle Park on Friday, June 12, one of the longest-running LGBTQ+ nights in Major League Baseball and a relaxed, all-ages way to open Pride season here in San Francisco. First pitch is 7:15 PM against the Chicago Cubs, with postgame fireworks set to music by LGBTQIA+ artists lighting up the bay. The ballpark sits at 24 Willie Mays Plaza, right on the South Beach and China Basin waterfront, easily the most scenic seat in the sport. Take transit and skip the parking headache entirely. The Muni Metro N-Judah and T-Third lines drop you steps from the gates, and if you are coming from BART, hop off downtown and stroll the Embarcadero in along the water. Tap your Clipper card and you are set. Late June here is moody, so even with a 7 PM start expect Karl the fog to roll in off the bay once the sun drops. Pack real layers, a hoodie minimum, because that waterfront wind does not care that it is technically summer. Spring for the special-event Pride ticket package if you can swing it. It includes a limited-edition Giants Pride jersey designed by Bay Area artist Favianna Rodriguez, and a portion of proceeds goes to local LGBTQIA+ organizations doing real work in our community. Here is my local tip. Buy that package early to lock in the jersey before it sells out, then claim a spot along the waterfront promenade for the fireworks. Watching them burst over the water with the queer crowd cheering is the kind of San Francisco night you remember.
