Pier 16, South Street Seaport
Pier 16, 89 South St, New York, NY 10038Youth Pride 2026 gives LGBTQ+ young people their own dedicated celebration on Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Pier 16 in South Street Seaport. Produced by NYC Pride, this free, alcohol-free festival is built specifically for LGBTQ+ youth and their friends, a safe and joyful space to dance, connect, and celebrate ahead of the big March weekend. Set on the East River with views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the day brings live performances, DJs, drag, interactive activities, and community resource tables geared toward young people, all in a welcoming, supervised environment. It is one of the most meaningful entries on the NYC Pride 2026 calendar, centering the next generation of the community and making sure they have a Pride space that is entirely their own. Allies and chosen family are welcome, and the vibe is upbeat, affirming, and entirely about youth joy. A few local tips. Pier 16 sits at the historic South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan, an easy walk from the Fulton Street station served by the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J, and Z lines. Admission is free, though organizers often ask for an RSVP to plan, so check the NYC Pride site before you go. Bring sunscreen, water, and a hat for the exposed waterfront, and plan to make a day of the Seaport's shops and cobblestone streets nearby. On a calendar full of 21-and-over parties, Youth Pride keeps NYC Pride 2026 open and welcoming to the whole community.
