About Oakland Pride 2026

Oakland Pride is the East Bay's proudly grassroots celebration — one of the most diverse, most activist Prides in the country. In 2026 it's Sunday, August 16 (a new summer date), produced by the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center: a free parade through downtown at 10 AM, then a ticketed four-stage festival at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza in front of City Hall from noon to 6 PM, with a headliner on the Main Stage and afterparties across the Uptown and downtown bars. The 2026 theme is 'Celebrating Pride, Power, and People.'
