Major Annual Events
- NYC Pride March — the last Sunday of June. One of the world's largest Pride celebrations, marching down Fifth Avenue through Greenwich Village. Millions of spectators
- Queens Pride — early June. Diverse parade and festival along 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights
- Broadway Bares — June. Annual burlesque-style fundraiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS featuring Broadway performers. Sells out fast
- Folsom Street East — June. NYC's annual leather and kink street fair on West 27th Street in Chelsea, modeled after San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair
- Harlem Pride — late June. Community-centered Pride celebration in Harlem
- NYC Black Pride — August. Multi-day event with parties, panels, health screenings, and cultural programming across Harlem and Brooklyn
- Bushwig — September. Brooklyn's massive drag festival in Bushwick, featuring hundreds of performers
- NewFest: NYC's LGBTQ+ Film Festival — October. One of the largest and most prestigious LGBTQ+ film festivals in the US
- Village Halloween Parade — October 31, 7:00 PM. Runs up Sixth Avenue through Greenwich Village — the nation's largest public Halloween celebration with deep LGBTQ+ roots. 50,000+ costumed participants
- Saint at Large Black Party — March. Massive circuit-style dance event continuing the legacy of The Saint nightclub
- Saint at Large White Party — Late November/early December. The winter counterpart to the Black Party
- AIDS Walk New York — May. One of the largest AIDS fundraising events in the world
