What is the Gay Neighborhood in Miami?

Key venues include Twist (South Beach's longest-running gay club on Washington Ave), Bar Gaythering (a social gay bar on Lincoln Road), Palace Bar & Restaurant (an Ocean Drive landmark famous for drag performances), and Kill Your Idol (a dive bar on Espanola Way). The neighborhood is also home to Hôtel Gaythering, the only officially gay hotel in Miami.

Wynwood Arts District

On the mainland, Wynwood has become a secondary queer hub centered around NW 2nd Avenue. Gramps hosts regular queer and drag events, while R House Wynwood draws crowds for its legendary drag brunch. Beaches

South Beach between 12th and 14th Streets is the unofficial gay beach, and Haulover Nude Beach north of Bal Harbour is a popular clothing-optional destination with a dedicated gay section.
