Part of the Gay Miami Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Miami, Florida
Gay-owned cocktail bar and social hub at Hotel Gaythering on Lincoln Road.
Bar Gaythering is the ground-floor bar of Hotel Gaythering, a gay-owned hotel in a 1958 MiMo building on Lincoln Road, and it's been named Best Gay Bar by Miami New Times. The draw is craft cocktails and a packed weekly calendar rather than a dance floor: Karaoke Monday, Trivia Wednesday, Boozie Bingo Thursday, gaymer nights, and rotating weekend events. The hotel upstairs also runs a men-only sauna. It reads more cocktail lounge than club, which makes it the lower-key counterweight to the louder rooms a few blocks south in South Beach. Good for a conversation-friendly start to the night, a games-night crowd, or travelers staying on the Lincoln Road end who want a local gay bar within walking distance.
