Wine-tap bar with weekend brunch in Walker's Point
Black Sheep MKE is a wine-tap bar and restaurant in Walker's Point, Milwaukee's established gayborhood. Sixteen self-serve wine taps pour half-glass, glass, and full pours of small-production wines, backed by a craft cocktail list and a seasonal American menu that runs from cheese curds and truffle fries to a proper pork chop and lamb entree. The space is a restored early-1900s printing warehouse — exposed brick, hardwood floors, original beadboard ceiling, and a metal-top bar running the length of the room. Brunch is the draw on weekends (Saturday and Sunday 10am–3pm): Nashville hot chicken and waffles, croque madame, brunch poutine, mimosa table service. A Pride flag flies over the entrance, and the bar hosts occasional drag shows. Reservations via Tock.
