New Haven, Connecticut
Gay-owned Pan-Asian restaurant near the Green with karaoke nights and queer mixers.
Gay-owned Pan-Asian restaurant and bar on Court Street in downtown New Haven, opened in 2021 by married couple Michael Flora and Natthawut "Kyu" Tipjak. Thai is the dominant cuisine, supplemented by Japanese and Chinese dishes — the hot oil veggie dumplings, tamarind noodles, and pineapple curry are repeat favorites. Full bar with creative cocktails. Evenings shift into nightlife mode with karaoke nights, Thursday trivia, queer mixers, and art exhibitions. The venue's first Pride month in 2021 made local news when its flag was stolen — the community rallied with replacements and 250 mini flags. Vegan and gluten-free options available.
