Custom leather and fetish atelier on Motzstraße in Schöneberg, handmade to measure.
Leather and fetish atelier on Motzstrasse in Schoneberg, Berlin's historic gay district, founded in 2005 by Marc Lindinger and Oliver Eiermann. "Butcherei" means butcher shop — the name reflects the precision cutting and tailoring of leather to order. Highsnobiety and Quartz have both profiled it as the intersection of kink and haute couture. Custom made-to-measure is the core service: fittings involve at least three people recording every detail from piping to codpiece shaping. Materials span leather, rubber, latex, metal, neoprene, and textile. Stock pieces include harnesses, pants, shirts, belts, underwear, boots, bags, and bondage gear, priced roughly 129-999 EUR. Busiest weekends are Folsom Europe (September) and CSD (June/July). Open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 8pm.
