LGBTQ+-owned bakery in Roma Norte specializing in traditional Mexican breads — not the French-influenced pastry you'll find at most Mexico City cafes. Chef Ricardo González trained as both a sociologist and a gastronomer, and his menu runs from pan de pulque with black sesame and pastry cream to Zacatlán-style cheese bread to the house signature "Cuaks," a chocolate-coated riff on the classic Gansito. The shop keeps Pride-themed pastries on the counter year-round, not just in June — including the "mariconcha," a pride edition of the classic concha. Every December 1, all profits go to HIV/AIDS organizations. The calm, plant-filled space on Calle Orizaba sits a few minutes' walk from Roma Norte's nightlife strip.
