Lesbian-led queer café and cultural space in Roma Norte
Lesbian-led LGBTQ+ cafe and cultural forum in Roma Norte, founded by Azul Veneno around 2021. One of the few brick-and-mortar spaces in Mexico City explicitly created by and for queer women — though the door is open to everyone. The menu runs chilaquiles, enchiladas, molletes, and colorful burgers (arrachera, Hawaiian, portobello, vegetarian) alongside specialty coffee brewed by French press, Chemex, or V60. Executive lunch runs 70 MXN on weekdays. Monthly programming includes stand-up comedy workshops, lesbian community reflection circles, book presentations, film screenings, karaoke, and artisan bazaars. The decor is hummingbird murals, multicolored umbrellas, pride flags, and synthetic grass — intentionally warm and handmade.
