Part of the Gay Los Angeles Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Los Angeles, California
North Hollywood gay Latin nightclub with go-go, drag, and reggaeton.
Club Cobra is a gay Latin nightclub in North Hollywood — three bars, a dance floor, and an outdoor patio, with go-go dancers and midnight shows on weekends. The music stays Latin all night, from reggaeton and cumbia to Latin pop spun by resident DJs, pulling a gay Latino crowd that wants its night out closer to the Valley than to West Hollywood. Its standout is Transfix on Thursdays — the longest-running trans Latina night in Los Angeles, hosted and staffed entirely by trans women. Cobra is the sister club to Chico in Montebello under the same ownership, both conceived as an alternative to the Westside scene. The club went dark for 15 months during the pandemic and reopened in June 2021, and it has held its place as one of the city's essential Latin queer rooms.
