Club Tempo is a Latin gay nightclub at Santa Monica Boulevard and Western Avenue in East Hollywood — a longtime vaquero-flavored institution rather than a WeHo dance club. Three floors run cumbia, banda, norteño, reggaeton, and Latin pop, with drag shows, live bands, and go-go dancers. There's a taco patio for refueling between sets, and the crowd is largely Latinx and men-leaning but mixed and welcoming. It's busiest late on weekends; closed early in the week.
