Lincoln, Nebraska
Premier LGBTQ+ nightclub in downtown Lincoln at 17th and O Streets
Das Haus is downtown Lincoln's LGBTQ+ lounge and cabaret, on the corner of 17th and O Street, where the main floor doubles as a stage and a dance floor. The club touts a 25,000-watt sound system and well over a hundred moving lights, and it puts that rig to work on a steady run of drag shows, with a stated aim of bringing some of the Midwest's best drag and cabaret to Nebraska. Beyond the drag, the calendar rotates through themed nights like Y2K parties, foam parties, karaoke, and trivia. It bills itself as "everyone's bar, free of labels and judgment," and in practice it functions as the center of Lincoln's queer nightlife; the Star City Pride festival sets up on the street right outside. Doors are Thursday through Saturday, and entry is 19 and up. If DAME is the conversational lounge end of Lincoln's scene, Das Haus is the high-energy drag-and-dance counterpart.
