Roma Sur drag cabaret with live vocals and a resident dance troupe.
Dragaret is a drag cabaret staged inside the Foro Roma event space on Coahuila in Roma Sur, running since 2022. What separates it from a lip-sync bar is the live singing: a rotating cast of about seven queens performs with actual vocals, backed by a dance troupe, working through everything from 80s and 90s hits to current tracks in Spanish and English. Anniversary shows have drawn real-deal musical guests — Jesse & Joy, and Enrique Guzman with Coque Muniz — and the format has since expanded with a second Dragaret in Cancun. This is a sit-down show, not a club night — semi-formal dress, table service with a cover and minimum consumption, and a capacity around 200 that keeps it feeling like a production rather than a free-for-all. It's best for a planned night out built around the performance, with the party carrying on afterward. Reservations are worth it.
