Fawn opened in 2025 in the old Public Bistro space on South Cooper, doing seasonal small plates and house infusions in a room styled around woodland themes. It is the fourth venue from the Memphis bartending trio of Mary Oglesby, Paul Gilliam and McKenzie Nelson, who also run Cameo, Mary’s B.O.T.E. and the No Comment wine bar. The group took part in the MidSouth LGBT Chamber’s LGBTQ Business Week, and the restaurant has become a standard Cooper-Young option for a longer dinner. Reservations through OpenTable.
