Oakland, California
Uptown Oakland queer supperclub with drag shows and late-night DJ sets
Fluid510 is a 5,000-square-foot, bi-level queer supperclub and event space in Uptown Oakland, opened in 2023 by Richard Fuentes and Sean Sullivan — the duo behind nearby Port Bar. The name nods to fluidity and the city's area code, and the room is built to shape-shift: 21-foot ceilings, a restaurant set-up earlier in the week that turns into a dance floor and performance space later on, with drag shows, weekend brunch, and late-night DJ sets. It's the more produced, dressed-up end of Oakland's queer nightlife, and a deliberate downtown companion to Port Bar a few blocks away — the pair has been steadily knitting together a walkable East Bay scene. Come for dinner-and-a-show midweek, or for the club energy on Friday and Saturday nights.
