Gender-affirming personal training studio near East Liberty.
Free Will is a personal-training studio on Baum Boulevard in East Liberty, founded by Donal, a trans community member who has presented at TransPride Pittsburgh's Health and Wellness Conference. The studio is built around gender-affirming fitness: individualized programming written in gender-neutral language and shaped to each client's body and goals rather than run off a generic template. Training happens in-studio or virtually, typically structured around four-week plans. It's one of the few fitness spaces in Pittsburgh designed from the ground up for trans and nonbinary people, though everyone is welcome, and it works as a low-pressure alternative to a big-box gym for anyone who wants real coaching without the body-policing.
