Calgary, Alberta
Beltline arcade bar with 50-plus games, craft cocktails, and a weekend DJ dance floor
Greta is an adult arcade bar in Calgary's Beltline with 50-plus vintage and modern games — Pac-Man, Mario Kart, Skee-Ball, air hockey, Big Buck Hunter — spread across multiple levels. A game-card system keeps things moving between rounds of craft cocktails and globally inspired street food ordered from a truck-style kitchen window. The basement turns into a dance floor on weekends with a live DJ. The crowd skews young professionals and group outings. Greta opened in 2018 and has since expanded to Edmonton, Vancouver, and Toronto, but the Calgary flagship holds its own energy. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Saturday, and ReGreta Sundays bring out the hospitality industry crowd. Located in the Beltline, close to Calgary's gay nightlife district.
