Madrid, Spain
Drag dinner-cabaret with open bar, buffet, and 30 years of history
Drag-dinner-cabaret restaurant near Plaza de Santo Domingo in central Madrid — not in Chueca, but a 10-minute walk from it. Gula Gula has a 30-year legacy as one of Madrid's most storied LGBTQ+ dinner-theater experiences. The artistic team reconstituted the concept at this Calle Preciados 46 location after closing their original Gran Via space. The format is an all-you-can-eat buffet with open bar (wine, beer, sangria, soft drinks) followed by a drag queen cabaret featuring resident performers Dolly, La Malibu, and Shirley Stonyrock. Shows run Friday and Saturday, doors at 9:30pm, capacity 80 guests. All-in price is around 58 EUR per person. The show is primarily in Spanish. Reservations via OpenTable or phone with a 10 EUR deposit.
