La Kama Café took over the address in 2018, turning the two-level corner into one of Chueca's most versatile hangouts. It functions as a proper café by day, serving breakfast, brunch, focaccia, and coffee with cinnamon cookies, then transitions seamlessly into a cocktail lounge as the sun goes down. The tropical decor and diffused lighting create a jungle-like atmosphere that feels intentional without being overdone. The balcony and outdoor seating are prime real estate for people-watching on Chueca's main drag, while the upstairs offers a bird's-eye view of the passing parade. By night, tropical cocktails take center stage, and the bartenders—predictably attractive and efficient—keep the energy relaxed but flirtatious. It's a place that works whether you're solo with a coffee at noon or meeting friends for pre-club drinks at midnight, making it one of the more reliably welcoming spots in the neighborhood.
