Gay karaoke bar in Le Marais — 6,500 titles, vaulted stone cellar.
L'Enchanteur is a gay karaoke bar in the Marais, built across two levels at 15 Rue Michel le Comte, each floor with its own bar and sound system. The ground floor is a lounge anchored by a jukebox loaded with more than 6,500 titles. Downstairs, a vaulted stone cellar serves as the karaoke room, where the old stonework gives natural acoustics and nightly sessions run from 10 pm (8 pm on Sundays). Wednesdays are hosted by drag performer Mademoiselle Texia. This is a destination rather than a pre-game stop. The crowd is cosmopolitan and participatory, here to sing rather than watch from the sidelines, and the bar stays open until dawn on weekends. Come with a song in mind and the patience for a queue, and it's one of the more genuinely fun late nights in the quarter.
