Part of the Gay Victoria Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Victoria, British Columbia
Victoria's gay bar with Drag Sundays, karaoke, and DJ weekends
Downtown Victoria nightclub on Johnson Street, originally opened around 2007 as the city's gay bar. The venue still hosts Drag Sundays produced by Shelita Cox, along with karaoke Tuesdays and DJ-driven weekend nights. The space is basement-level with a dance floor and pool tables. The crowd today skews young and student-heavy — the University of Victoria party scene is a big draw, especially on Student Saturdays. While Paparazzi markets itself as inclusive and still runs queer programming, the clientele has shifted mostly mainstream over the years.
