Pride Gifts is an adult novelty shop on Cedar Springs Road, the main drag of Dallas's Oak Lawn gayborhood. The remodeled store carries thousands of items, vibrators, lubricants, novelties and massage oils among them, and serves a mixed gay and straight clientele. It keeps 24-hour doors, which makes it the late-night backstop on a strip otherwise built around the bars. Oak Lawn has been the heart of gay Dallas since the 1970s, and in 2018 it became the first LGBTQ neighborhood in Texas to receive a state historical marker, unveiled at Cedar Springs and Throckmorton. Pride Gifts sits in that same run of bars, restaurants and shops.
