Montreal, Québec
Gay Village bathhouse anchoring Rue Sainte-Catherine since 1990.
Sauna Centre-Ville has anchored Montreal's Gay Village since March 1990, making it one of the longest-running bathhouses in the city. Located on St-Catherine Street East across from Sky Pub — between metro stations Beaudry and Papineau — it spans two floors with around 60 private rooms (single, double, double with sling, and deluxe suite options), plus lockers, a dry sauna, steam room, whirlpool, snack bar, and a rooftop terrace. Free condoms are provided. The crowd skews mature — most regulars are 40 and up — and the venue draws both locals and visitors who appreciate its central Village location and straightforward setup. It's the most-visited gay sauna in Montreal, and the reason is consistency: not the flashiest option, but well-located and built for the purpose.
