Los Angeles, California
Lesbian-owned nightclub with a dance floor on the WeHo strip
SweetWater WeHo is a lesbian-owned nightclub and bar on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood's Rainbow District, opened in summer 2026 by Berni Gambino after nearly three decades in law enforcement. She combined the former Z Pizza and 8oz Poke spaces into one room, with bars along two walls, a dance floor in the middle and a front patio. Gambino built it as a space centered on women who love women on a strip that's mostly gay men's bars, and it's open to the whole community and allies. Expect DJs, drag, comedy and karaoke, with full bar service and no kitchen. It gives lesbians and sapphic travelers a dance floor of their own on the WeHo strip.
