Queer bar and drag stage in Inglewood, home to Carly's Angels since 2000
The Attic Bar & Stage is a queer-inclusive cocktail bar, performance venue, and vegan pizza restaurant in Calgary's Inglewood neighborhood. You reach it via a tree-shaded patio and wooden stairs above Vegan Street — the same team runs both. The kitchen turns out stone-fired Neapolitan pizzas and plant-forward dishes, making it one of the few performance venues with an entirely vegan menu. The anchor show is Carly's Angels, Calgary's longest-running drag production (performing since 2000, hosted by Carly York Jones). The rest of the calendar fills with burlesque, queer stand-up comedy, and live music. Open Thursday through Sunday.
