The Babilon Club is a multilevel gay nightclub on Calle Amberes in the heart of Mexico City's Zona Rosa, the busiest stretch of the city's gay nightlife. The space previously operated as La Noria; now it programs gogo dancers and resident DJ sets across the weekend, with an upstairs smoking terrace overlooking the strip. Amberes is the spine of the Zona Rosa scene, and Babilon sits right in the thick of it, which is the main reason to come: it's wired into a block where you can walk out one door and into the next club without crossing a street. A reliable stop on a Zona Rosa bar-hop rather than a destination you'd plan a whole night around.
