Queer cocktail bar with a back patio in Uptown Oakland
There/There is a queer cocktail bar on 25th Street in Uptown Oakland, in the space that was Friends and Family, and it kept that bar's back patio. Cocktails carry names like My Ex's Ex and the T-Boy Tini, alongside a mostly vegan and gluten-free menu of bar bites such as chicken nuggets with black garlic ketchup and duck buns. Inside it's dark and industrial with high-top tables; out back there are bleachers on the patio. It's a bar first rather than a restaurant, and a natural stop before or after dinner in Uptown.
