Tini sits on Massachusetts Avenue, the spine of Indianapolis's Arts District and its main LGBTQ+ nightlife strip. It works on two levels: a ground-floor cocktail bar paced for conversation, with music videos on the screens and a list that rewards ordering something built rather than poured, and an upstairs room that opens as a dance floor on weekends and runs late. The register is more queer-cool than old-school gay bar — welcoming across the spectrum and easy to walk into solo. Programming leans on drag shows, RuPaul's Drag Race viewing nights, and DJ sets, and the kitchen now turns out food, which keeps it useful earlier in the evening. For a visitor, it's the natural first stop on Mass Ave: central, unfussy, and a short walk from the district's restaurants and theaters before the dance floor fills.
