Columbus, Ohio
Short North boutique for gender-fluid fashion, underwear, and clubwear.
Torso Short North is a gay-owned fashion boutique in the heart of Columbus's Short North Arts District — the city's recognized LGBTQ+ neighborhood. The shop stocks over 150 styles of men's underwear from brands worldwide, plus swimwear, club wear, dresses, accessories, and in-house designed tees. The ethos is "Clothing has no sex" — gender-fluid, expressive fashion without rules. Open since 1998, Torso is one of the Short North's longest-running independent retailers. Owner Scott Rousku also operates Torso Leather & Fetish on South High Street. The shop partners with Equitas Health and Stonewall Columbus, and runs charitable tee campaigns including "Silence = Death" shirts benefiting the Human Rights Campaign.
