Salt Lake City, Utah
Utah's only LGBTQ+ community center, serving SLC since 1991
Utah's only brick-and-mortar LGBTQ+ community center, the Utah Pride Center has operated since 1991 — first as the Utah Stonewall Center, then under its current name since 2005. Located on the 9th floor of 68 S Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City, it runs sliding-scale mental health services, support groups for trans adults, queer people of color, and people in recovery, plus youth drop-in programs for ages 14–20. The center is also the organization behind the Utah Pride Festival at Library Square, the state's second-largest parade drawing 80,000+ attendees each June. Drop-in hours are Tuesday, Thursday 2–8 PM and Wednesday noon–8 PM. Over 30 external groups meet at the center regularly.
