Part of the Gay London Guide — bars, events & things to do.

London, London
Greenwich's flagship gay pub with drag, bingo, and weekly events
A Gay Friendly pub in the heart of Greenwich, occupying a Victorian corner building at the base of Crooms Hill that was rebuilt in 1888 — and long a fixture of the area's LGBTQ+ scene. Next door is Greenwich Theatre, which occupies the former Rose & Crown Music Hall, and the dark-wood interior still carries that old theatre-pub character. The pub has a strong history of drag and cabaret programming, from drag bingo and RuPaul's Drag Race screenings to weekend drag shows and a pub quiz, so it's worth checking what's on before you go. Greene King runs the kitchen, so expect proper pub grub — hand-battered fish and chips, steak and ale pie, full Sunday roast. It sits right at the edge of Greenwich Park, a short walk from the Cutty Sark and the market, and has long served as a gathering spot for the LGBTQ+ community across Greenwich and Lewisham, including around Greenwich Pride each summer.
