Village is one of Soho's original gay bars, open on Wardour Street since 1991 and busy most nights of the week. It runs across three floors and leans into entertainment: drag cabaret, karaoke, and go-go dancers working the bar and podiums. Recently refurbished, it now pairs house on the main floor with a basement that turns to techno, plus an upstairs cocktail lounge, so check current programming before you go. Quiet and easygoing by day, it turns up the volume as the night goes on. It's a bar-and-dance hybrid that suits both a casual pint and a late one, which is part of why it's stayed a Soho staple for three decades.
