London, London
LGBTQ+ club and performance venue under a Clapham railway arch
ARCH is a Gay Friendly bar and cabaret venue set into a railway arch on Voltaire Road in Clapham, South London. It opened in December 2020 to give the Clapham scene more of its own nightlife rather than sending everyone north to Vauxhall or Soho, and it's built around live entertainment: drag, cabaret, themed nights and a full events calendar. Regular fixtures include Thursday drag bingo, Delicious Fridays, Rotation Saturdays, and a drag Sunday roast with live comedy. The room runs from relaxed early-evening drinks to a full dance-floor night as the bills change, and a large outdoor terrace makes it a summer destination as much as a club. If you're south of the river, it's the anchor for a night out in Clapham; if you're traveling, it's worth the trip out from the centre for a scene that feels more neighborhood than tourist.
