Drag brunches, circuit nights & every party worth knowing in Portland — in your inbox every week.
Portland has drag brunch every Sunday at two venues, and on most weekends at a third. Darcelle XV on NW 3rd Avenue runs Sunday Funday Drag Brunch, and Swan Dive on SE Grand Avenue runs its DIVA Drag Brunch every Sunday. On NE Alberta, Bar Cala hosts all-ages drag brunches on Sundays, plus some Saturdays, through November, and Poison Waters hosts a brunch on set Sundays at The Heist on SE Woodstock. A handful of one-off brunches fill in the calendar.
This guide covers each one, with times, prices, age rules and booking details as the venues and organizers publish them. For the nighttime side of the city's drag scene, see our companion guide to drag shows in Portland.
What to know before you go
- Sunday is the reliable day. Darcelle XV and Swan Dive both run drag brunch every Sunday.
- Check the age rule. Darcelle XV is 21+ for every show. Bar Cala's brunch is all ages, and so are the Alberta Street Pub and 10 Barrel brunches.
- Book ahead. Darcelle XV says reservations are "highly recommended as shows often sell out!" Most of the others sell tickets in advance on Eventbrite or Mercury Tickets.
- Some prices cover only the show. Darcelle XV's $32 is a cover charge, and the Alberta Street Pub brunch ticket does not include food or drinks.
Pro Tip
For a Sunday, choose between Darcelle XV (show 12:30 PM, 21+) and Swan Dive (opens 12:30 PM). With kids or under-21 friends, Bar Cala's all-ages brunches on NE Alberta run on Sundays and some Saturdays through November 22.

I'm Robbie, the founder of Out x Out. I'm from Minneapolis, though I'm spending 2026 building this community from the road — somewhere between South America and Asia. The idea for Out x Out came from a trip to Berlin, where the gay nightlife calendar was years ahead of ours: you could see not just where to go out, but which night to go — so naturally I wanted that kind of insider info for every city in the US (and beyond... eventually). I'm more of a behind-the-scenes type, but the whole point of this is connection: I'd take one real one over a hundred surface-level ones, and I'm trying to build that for the community, city by city.
