About City Nights: Pride at City Museum 2026

City Nights: Pride turns St. Louis's legendary City Museum into a 21-and-over LGBTQ+ playground on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 7 to 11 p.m. It's one of the most distinctive Pride events in the city — the run of the whole museum after dark, with its salvaged-architecture caves, slides, and rooftop, paired with a Pride party, drag, and DJs once the daytime crowds clear out. The night layers a full Pride celebration onto the museum's usual madness: a Sequin LGBTQ+ outsider-art installation at Beatnik Bob's, music from DJ Taber, and the Pride-a-Palooza drag show produced by Prismatic kicking off around 9 p.m. With the museum open to explore and a full bar in the mix, it's a grown-up, gleefully weird alternative to a standard bar night — climb through the ten-story slide, wander the rooftop, then catch the drag show. It's ideal for a date, a birthday group, or anyone who wants their Pride with a serious sense of play. City Museum sits at 750 North 16th Street in downtown west, with paid parking nearby and rideshare the easiest call for a late night out. Tickets include full museum access and tend to sell — buy ahead through citymuseum.org and bring a valid ID, since the event is strictly 21-and-over. Wear closed-toe shoes you can actually climb in, and pace your drinks if you plan to hit the slides. On the St. Louis Pride 2026 calendar, this is the one that's unlike anything else — equal parts nightclub, jungle gym, and drag show.
