What Gay Events are Happening in Minneapolis?

The Twin Cities have one of the most active LGBTQ+ event scenes in the Midwest, with something happening nearly every night of the week.

Major Annual Events

• Twin Cities Pride (late June) — One of the largest free Pride festivals in the country at Loring Park, featuring the Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade, four entertainment stages, and 650+ vendors
• St. Paul Pride Festival (mid-June) — A smaller, grassroots community Pride celebration in St. Paul
• MNPOC Pride (August) — Five-day festival celebrating LGBTQ+ people of color, founded in 1999
• OutFront Minnesota Annual Gala (fall) — The state's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization's signature fundraising event
• Twin Cities Pride Drag Competition — The top 25 drag performers in Minnesota compete for cash prizes during Pride weekend
• Twin Cities Film Fest OUT Series (October) — Dedicated LGBTQ+ film programming within the broader film festival
