What Gay Events are Happening in Tampa?

Tampa's LGBTQ+ event calendar runs year-round between Ybor City and the wider Tampa Bay metro, with a mix of festivals, film, and nightlife.

Annual LGBTQ+ Events

  • St Pete Pride (June 26–28 in 2026, across the bay) — The metro's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration at 250,000+ attendees, with the main parade on Saturday, June 27.
  • GaYbor Days (around July 4th weekend) — The GaYbor District's street festival on 7th Avenue, with vendors, live entertainment, and appearances.
  • TIGLFF — Tampa Bay International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (September) — Running since 1990, primarily at the historic Tampa Theatre downtown.
  • Pride of Tampa Festival (held March 28, 2026) — Inaugural Pride festival at The Cuban Club in Ybor City, which stepped in during the Tampa Pride parade's hiatus.
  • Trans Pride Weekend (late March) — Programming across Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Weekly Nightlife

Drag and dance nights run all week in the GaYbor District — weekend drag and go-go at Bradley's on 7th, weekend shows and Drag Race headliners at Disco Pony, and Latin nights at MR D'z Men's Emporium.
