A Bar of Their Own (2207 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis) — Minnesota's first bar dedicated to women's sports, showing WNBA (Lynx), NWSL, women's hockey, and more. All-ages and family-friendly, this women-centered space has become one of the most beloved queer gathering spots in the Twin Cities. Open Wed–Sun with a menu covering vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and non-alcoholic options.

The Brass Strap (opening 2026) — A worker-member cooperative working to become the first collectively owned queer and lesbian bar in Minneapolis. Currently hosting pop-up events while securing a permanent South Minneapolis location. When it opens, it will be a significant addition to the national landscape of lesbian bars.

LUSH Lounge & Theater (990 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis) — Hosts a weekly lesbian night, considered the closest thing to a functioning lesbian bar in Minneapolis. Also features drag shows, burlesque, and themed events throughout the week.

Black Hart of Saint Paul — Draws a mixed, inclusive crowd including queer women with regular drag, burlesque, and community events.

Calliope Women's Chorus — The second-oldest feminist treble choir in the country, based in the Twin Cities with over 45 years of history. Welcomes cis, trans, and non-binary singers.

Quatrefoil Library (1220 E Lake St, Minneapolis) — One of the oldest LGBTQ+ libraries in the country (founded 1986) with an extensive collection of lesbian literature, periodicals, and film. Free membership, regular community events.
