Arena Experience is the largest gay club in Barcelona and the main room of Grupo Arena, the company that has run the city's gay nightlife since 1990, when it opened Punto BCN. It sits on Ronda de Sant Pere at the top of the Eixample, a short walk from the Gaixample bars, and brings the group's long-running "Madre" and "Classic" party concepts together under one roof: a big main floor that swings between commercial pop and throwbacks, rooms that lean into house and urban sounds, and a darkroom off to the side. Drag and striptease are a nightly fixture here rather than an occasional add-on, and the programming rotates by night of the week, from Vegas Night to neon, legends, and tribute shows. The crowd is young, mixed local-and-traveler, and builds late: nothing really starts until the early hours, so this is where a Gaixample night ends rather than begins. Free or discounted entry flyers circulate at bars across the neighborhood if you grab one before you go.
