Part of the Gay Las Vegas Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Down-home 24-hour neighborhood gay bar with karaoke and drag.
Badlands is a down-home gay neighborhood bar tucked into the Commercial Center plaza on East Sahara, well off the Strip and open around the clock. The plaza has anchored local LGBTQ+ life in Las Vegas for decades, and Badlands plays its part as the unpretentious corner where regulars land — a jukebox keeping the room loose, video poker, and cheap pours. The week runs on familiar rhythms: bingo, trivia, karaoke, and weekend drag shows for a crowd that's mostly local and entirely at ease. There's no cover and no attitude. If the Fruit Loop's nightclubs feel like a lot, this is the quieter, friendlier alternative — a place to drink, sing, and settle in among neighbors rather than tourists.
