Part of the Gay Las Vegas Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas's marquee gay nightclub in the Fruit Loop.
Piranha is the Fruit Loop's flagship nightclub, a 10,000-square-foot space on Paradise Road open since 2006. Three distinct rooms run their own DJs, upstairs VIP skyboxes look down over the floor, and guests walk in beneath a tank of live piranhas that gives the place its name. It connects directly to the 8½ Ultra Lounge next door — a lower-key counterpart with fireplaces, pool tables, and retro arcade games when you need a break from the dance floor. Nightly programming spans Latin Caliente, Hyper Pop Thursdays, and frequent appearances by Drag Race alumni. Of the off-Strip gay clubs it's the most polished and the biggest draw — the room travelers cross town for when they want an actual nightclub rather than a neighborhood bar.
