LGBTQ+-owned men's shop on Arenas Road stocking all sizes since 2003
Bear Wear is a gay-owned men's clothing and accessories shop on East Arenas Road, the heart of Palm Springs' gay shopping and bar district. The store opened in 2003, with Philip and Bruce taking it over in 2014, and it built its niche on carrying sizes most stores skip: apparel from small all the way through 11XL, including underwear, swimwear, tank tops, Hawaiian shirts, jockstraps, and lounge and club wear, plus jewelry, gifts, pride merchandise, and adult accessories. The tagline says it plainly: "Big Men, Small Men, All Men." The vibe is low-pressure, with Philip and Bruce on the floor but not pushy, which makes it an easy browse whether you're shopping seriously or killing time between bars on Arenas. There's a second location in Cathedral City.
