Denver, Colorado
Queer-owned vegetarian cafe & bar
City O' City is a queer- and women-owned vegetarian restaurant, bar, and coffeehouse on 13th Avenue in Capitol Hill, run by the team behind Watercourse Foods since it bought its building and expanded in 2015. The all-day kitchen turns out plant-based comfort food, pizza, brunch, and cocktails for a mixed, heavily queer local crowd, and the attached Deer Pile hosts comedy and performances upstairs. It's one of the neighborhood's default meeting spots, open from morning coffee through late dinner.
