Late-night Greek diner on Colfax
Pete's Kitchen is a Greek-American diner on East Colfax that owner Pete Contos took over in 1988, and it has been a late-night Colfax fixture ever since. The griddle runs classic diner fare alongside Greek and Mexican-inflected plates, and the Breakfast Burrito Supreme, created here in 1989, is the signature. Its long hours and spot on the Colfax strip make it a standard post-bar stop for the Capitol Hill crowd, gay and straight alike.
